The work of an event management company is varied and tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. We provide these general services:

  • Guest list management, mailing, and response tracking
  • Seating chart and room diagram creation
  • Rental pickup and drop off
  • Proper etiquette and cultural tradition advising and preparation
  • Vendor, participant, and volunteer management and supervision on event day
  • Venue management to include entry, setup, clean up, and exit

Nonprofit Fundraisers


We support a variety of nonprofits with their fundraising event needs. We focus on the details of planning and directing the fundraiser so that staff can maintain their day to day responsibilities, focus on donor cultivation and engagement, and be present in the room on event day. We understand that in order to fundraise, you have to friend-raise. We support nonprofits behind the scenes so that staff can spread the mission and welcome their guests instead of worrying about all the little details.

Luxury Weddings


Wedding Services can vary, depending on how much assistance you would like.

We can hold your hand from the point of engagement until you’re in your honeymoon suite, or assist you at any point in between.

How much help do you need?

A little bit of help – Although this sounds like we show up on your wedding day and magically make your dreams come true, we really need more time to get to know you and your wishes for the best day ever.  We share information with you that helps you make informed decisions when choosing all of your wedding vendors and even the venue. Ideally you call us as soon as you know you want help with your wedding, even if it’s only for Day of Coordination. We would love to speak with you at least 90 days (3 months) before your wedding day.

A whole lot of help – If you lean toward this level of service, we will have monthly meetings to check in on milestones as we approach your big day. We help with price quotes, vendor selection and coordination, budget management, tastings and design inspiration, while supporting you in attire selection, securing the wedding license, pre-marital counseling, and other time-sensitive tasks that the couple will handle.

How much does working with Virginia Grace Event Management for my wedding cost?
Our services are best suited for couples whose total wedding budget is $40,000 or more. To understand a rough cost, wedding management services are typically 10 – 15% of your total wedding budget. To determine a more firm estimate, we will want to know:
• what decisions have you already made?
• what decisions need our help?
• how many locations or venues are involved in your ideal wedding day?
• do you know what vendors you prefer, or do you need help choosing?
• how many guests will you invite?
• how many people are in your wedding party?

Once we know the above answers, Virginia Grace will be happy to provide a written estimate. Upon approval, a 40% non-refundable deposit will hold your date. Couples can work with us to determine the best payment plan to meet their needs.

Community Events and Festivals


We help create inspirational experiences for over 200 at a greater Richmond area monthly breakfast lecture series. We coordinate events within an annual, multi-day food festival that draws foodies from around the country. We help HBCUs and local churches honor traditions, while reimagining how to present their legacy events.

We support registration and check-in, guest experience, traffic flow, seating, floor layout and generally all of the logistics that help your event run smoothly and comfortably for your attendees.
